  • Design and contribute to human-centered AI operating models and governance frameworks; partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions
  • Develop go-to-market materials, proofs-of-concepts, and demos (including agentic systems and RAG pipelines); stay current on emerging AI technologies and contribute to thought leadership

Job Description Summary
Huron’s AI Transformation team helps clients harness the transformative potential of artificial intelligence to accelerate growth, enhance decision-making, and reimagine the enterprise.

As an Associate in AI Transformation Advisory, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how organizations design, deploy, and scale AI with humans at the center. You’ll collaborate with client teams to translate strategy into action—helping define AI roadmaps, reimagine business processes, and deliver impactful, enterprise-grade AI solutions across industries.

This role blends business strategy, process improvement, and technology fluency—ideal for a consultant who can move seamlessly between problem-solving, client delivery, and emerging innovation.

Experience and Role Description

As an Associate, you will:

  • Contribute to client engagements focused on defining AI strategies, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.

  • Lead independent workstreams within larger projects, ensuring deliverables are insightful, well-structured, and aligned to client objectives.

  • Conduct analysis of business processes, data flows, and technology ecosystems to identify AI and automation opportunities.

  • Support the design of responsible, human-centered AI operating models and governance frameworks.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including data scientists, engineers, and change management specialists—to deliver AI-enabled solutions.

  • Assist in developing go-to-market materials, frameworks, and client proposals that showcase Huron’s AI capabilities.

  • Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes leveraging agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation tools.

  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and frameworks, bringing forward innovative ideas for client and firm initiatives.

  • Contribute to thought leadership and internal knowledge-sharing on AI transformation topics.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science preferred.

  • 4–7 years of experience in consulting, technology, or enterprise transformation, with exposure to AI, analytics, or digital strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect business challenges with technology solutions.

  • Familiarity with major AI ecosystems and platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Experience supporting AI or data-driven solution delivery, including generative or agentic AI applications.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills—able to structure insights and influence client stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver independently, and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with RAG architectures, orchestration frameworks, or AI agents.

  • Familiarity with data platform modernization, AIOps/MLOps, or cloud infrastructure.

  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, prototypes, or lightweight AI automations.

  • Certifications in cloud AI platforms (Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, or equivalent).

  • Prior consulting experience supporting client delivery, business development, or thought leadership.

Your Impact

As an Associate, you’ll help clients turn AI ambition into measurable outcomes—translating strategy into solutions that enhance productivity, accelerate decision-making, and unlock innovation. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor and technical problem-solver, contributing to the responsible and scalable adoption of AI across industries.

The estimated base salary for this job is $105,000 - $135,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $120,750 - $155,250 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
