Location expectations
This role is designated as U.S. home-based remote.
The Dealer Services Sales Manager is responsible for driving dealer engagement and adoption of leasing and buyback programs through on‑site training, relationship development, and hands‑on dealership support. This role works directly with dealerships and internal Relationship Account Managers (RAMs) during targeted market “blitzes” to build capability, increase utilization, and ensure long‑term success.
This position requires extensive travel and a strong background in dealership sales operations, desking, and lease structuring.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct on‑site dealership visits to train and educate sales teams and leadership on leasing processes, buyback programs, and deal structuring
Plan daily and weekly travel schedules, including dealership visit planning, execution, and end‑of‑day debriefs
Execute multi‑week market blitzes (typically 3–4 months per market) to drive dealer engagement until ownership transitions to the assigned RAM
Partner closely with Relationship Account Managers (RAMs) during blitzes to ensure continuity, strong handoff, and sustained dealer performance
Model best practices in leasing, desking, and sales execution while coaching dealership staff and leadership
Build credibility and influence with dealership owners, GMs, sales managers, and salespeople
Identify opportunities to improve dealer performance and provide actionable feedback to RAMs and leadership
Represent the organization professionally in all dealer interactions and market engagements
Daily & Weekly Activities
Travel to assigned markets and dealerships (typically Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday)
Conduct multiple dealership visits per day
Deliver live training, answer questions, and support real‑time deal structuring
Debrief daily on outcomes, challenges, and next steps
Repeat engagement cycle until dealers are fully onboarded and supported by the RAM
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically eight to 10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
- Effective customer service/relations skills
- Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
- Ability to make important decisions independently
-Proven experience working within auto dealerships, including: Desking deals, Supporting and Influencing salespeople and sales managers, Structuring and understanding lead transactions
-Strong knowledge of dealership sales processes and workflows
-Ability to coach, train, and influence in fast-paced , high visibility environments
-Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
-High level of organization, self-direction and accountability
-Extensive Travel Required: Candidates must be comfortable traveling full weeks at a time, including frequent flights and on-site dealership visits across the U.S.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
