Provides high‑quality customer service to merchants by responding to inquiries related to merchant credit card processing and associated support services. Handles inbound telephone inquiries and requests, addressing questions, service issues, and transaction‑related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to credit card processing terminals, authorizations, and service interruptions, and providing clear solutions to resolve merchant concerns.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months to one year of customer service experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Basic knowledge of products, services, systems, and problem‑resolution procedures
Strong telephone, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot issues and handle challenging customer interactions professionally
Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify when to escalate more complex issues
Proficient computer and keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service
Effective time‑management skills to support multiple merchants while maintaining service standards
