Role Summary

Pyrovio is seeking a mid‑level .NET Full Stack Developer to support mission‑critical digital initiatives at a large U.S. electric utility. This role is a consulting position, embedded within the client’s centralized software engineering organization and product teams.

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise applications that support utility operations, capital programs, and business processes where reliability, security, and performance are essential. The role blends hands‑on software engineering with collaboration across product, platform, and architecture teams in a regulated, asset‑intensive environment.

This position is well‑suited for engineers who enjoy working in complex enterprise environments, value stability and quality, and want exposure to large‑scale utility systems while remaining part of a consulting firm with growth and leadership opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full‑stack web applications using C# and .NET Core
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services supporting enterprise and operational use cases
  • Contribute to the modernization and migration of legacy applications to Azure PaaS or private cloud environments
  • Participate in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, platform teams, and client stakeholders
  • Participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and design discussions to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • Support production applications as needed, including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and performance optimization
  • Apply secure coding practices and contribute to enterprise security and compliance expectations

Key Technologies & Tools

  • C# / .NET Core (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs)
  • Angular (v10+)
  • Azure (PaaS services and private cloud)
  • Azure DevOps (repositories, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, project‑dependent)
  • Unit testing frameworks (xUnit / nUnit)

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Experience

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent)
  • Hands‑on experience developing and supporting .NET‑based enterprise applications
  • Experience working in Agile software delivery environments
