  • Supports monthly close settings in the RCA tool and other templates related to net revenue and net accounts receivable.
  • Provides data and inputs used in payer performance analysis and generates analyses and reports on net revenue performance.
  • Assists with plan and forecast models for all assigned companies and supports balance sheet reconciliations and related work.

Job Description:

The Net Revenue Management Analyst provides certain analysis and reports related to the net patient services revenue accounting function. This position provides support in the development, analysis, and interpretation of a variety of routine to moderately complex data sources. Management supervision is limited.

Essential Functions

  • Provides data and inputs used in the preparation of A/R reserve calculations, including contractual allowances, bad debt reserves and charity reserves for all assigned companies.

  • Supports the preparation of the monthly close setting in the RCA tool and other templates related to net revenue and net accounts receivable.

  • Provides data and inputs used in the analysis of payer performance and provides various analyses and reports specific to net revenue performance.

  • Provides data and inputs used in the preparation of the plan and forecast models for all assigned companies.

  • Assists with the completion of balance sheet reconciliations for all assigned companies, accounts, and work tags.

  • Provides data and inputs used in multiple projects and assists the Revenue Management Analyst – Senior and Manager – Revenue Management to meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration from an accredited institution.  Education is verified.

  • Demonstrated experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.

  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring effective analytical thinking, as well as verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration from an accredited institution.  Education is verified.

  • Experience working in healthcare and net revenue.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics using tools and processes.

  • Familiarity with Epic and Workday

  • Familiarity with Kodiak Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) net revenue tool

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.

  • Interacts with colleagues and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.

  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$30.55 - $48.12
