Job description

Location: Banksmeadow, NSW | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 2:00PM – 10:00PM

Team Global Express is looking for a reliable and organised Same Day Allocator to support our operations team in Banksmeadow.

This role is focused on coordinating drivers and fleet resources to ensure all same day pick-ups and deliveries are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll be at the centre of the operation, working closely with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep things moving.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinating same day pick-ups and deliveries across the metro network

  • Allocating jobs to drivers and subcontractors based on priority and availability

  • Monitoring deliveries and tracking progress throughout the day

  • Communicating with drivers, customers and suppliers to manage expectations

  • Responding to calls, emails and enquiries in a timely manner

  • Managing delays or issues and providing updates to customers

  • Supporting operational efficiency by using internal systems and tools

  • Working closely with operations teams, branches and account managers

  • Following all safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in transport, logistics or fast-paced operations

  • Previous experience in fleet allocation or coordination (preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of Sydney metro area

  • Good communication skills and ability to deal with drivers and customers

  • Comfortable using systems and basic Microsoft Office tools

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks

  • Able to work under pressure and stay organised

  • Team player with a proactive approach
