Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Intern to support our Finance team at a fast-growing company. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across core accounting functions, including accounts payable, cash reconciliations, and financial data management. You’ll work with real financial data, contribute to process improvements, and support key initiatives such as ERP implementation. This is a great opportunity to build foundational accounting skills while helping scale finance operations as the company continues to grow.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and expense tracking
  • Assist with cash reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Participate in ERP implementation efforts, including testing and data migration support
  • Help maintain accurate financial data by reviewing, organizing, and validating datasets
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Track and analyze expenses to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Support documentation of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Prepare structured outputs (Excel models, reconciliations, summaries, and reports)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity

 

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or recent graduate)
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data organization)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial data
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying inconsistencies
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have’s

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Quickbooks, or similar)
  • Exposure to accounts payable processes or financial reconciliations
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus


Compensation:

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $25, with interns working up to 40 hours per week.

The program runs for 8 weeks and will be offered in two cohorts. Candidates may participate in the cohort that best aligns with their summer schedule.

Cohort 1: June 15, 2026 through August 7, 2026
Cohort 2: July 6, 2026 through August 28, 2026
