Job description

Job Description:

Move demographic and scheduling information from one system to another
Check insurance eligibility thru websites or calls
Obtain dental procedure history
Accurately encode Fee Schedules in our practice softwares
Check accuracy of previously entered data
Collaborate effectively with other members of the Dental Team to ensure smooth operations

Minimum Qualifications:

Familiarity with dental coding systems (preferably but not required)
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic knowledge of dental billing codes and insurance procedures is advantageous but no required
Data entry skills (40 WPM or better)
Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
Has reliable internet at home
Willing to work in shifting schedules or graveyard shift
Able to work from home with reliable internet and a backup connection.
