The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss, a global leader in HVAC/R, Industrial Automation, and Motion Controls, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager in its Food Retail sales vertical.  This individual will grow sales and market share across existing accounts and generate new business with new accounts.  They will have end-to-end responsibility for sales pursuits.  Key responsibilities will include working across all departments, including senior leadership at our existing and new customers.  Critical skills will include leveraging resources across the organization to secure opportunity wins.  

 

This is a fully remote position.   We will not offer sponsorship or relocation for this position.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•    Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan for growth for the Food Retail vertical
•    Cultivate and expand existing key accounts; identify new business opportunities with non-Danfoss accounts in your designated region 
•    Strengthen relationships at C-suite level with existing and new key accounts
•    Participate and engage in monthly business dialogue meetings by communicating internally with all stakeholders on business requirements for growth
•    Responsible for developing and maintaining the Danfoss value proposition
•    Manage and maintain a quality opportunity pipeline in Salesforce

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
•    Bachelor's degree in Business/Sales or equivalent experience
•    More than five years of sales experience
•    Strong business acumen
•    C-Level management experience
•    Understanding of the Food Retail, Energy Management, and HVAC/R industries 
•    Capacity to work with and through others in a matrixed organization
•    Salesforce or equivalent experience
•    Strong communication and negotiation skills
•    Good command of the English language
•    Ability to travel up at 60%

 

Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000.
