Job description

 

Are you passionate about sales and ready to make an impact at the point of sale? Join our Commercial team as a Jr. Sales Representative. You’ll be responsible for analyzing local market dynamics, customer needs, and performance indicators to create and execute action plans that maximize sales results.

 

In this role, you will align and agree on commercial plans with customers across Convenience, Distributors, and Modern Trade, ensuring flawless execution at POS within your assigned territory. You will also provide key insights on category performance and shopper behavior to support strong, data-driven business decisions. This is a remote role, based in Mexico City.

 

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Sales Growth & Opportunity Identification: Analyze territory performance to identify opportunities that increase product rotation and category participation at the point of sale.
  • Customer & Business Reviews: Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews, managing trade volume, monitoring sales targets, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
  • Commercial Plan Execution: Ensure flawless execution of the commercial plan at POS, including visibility, promotions, launches, and compliance with established execution standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and merchandiser agencies to align priorities, initiatives, and execution across retail environments.
  • Market & Competitive Insights: Provide ongoing feedback from POS on competition activity, out-of-stock situations, and market dynamics to support better decision-making.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • +2 years of business experience within CPG companies (Field Sales experience desirable).
  • Experience managing field sales activities and working with third-party merchandising teams.
  • Strong knowledge of local market dynamics, Modern Trade, Proximity Channel, distributors, and key customers.
  • Solid negotiation skills and strong operational discipline.
  • Ability to visit customer locations including offices, distribution centers, and retail environments.
  • English and Spanish proficiency (desirable).
