  • Identify technology gaps, secure funding for development, and architect scalable, next-generation, multi-domain training solutions aligned with customer mission requirements
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, foster cross-functional collaboration, and manage governance through OKRs and Lead-to-Award gates to ensure continuous performance

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Mission Training & Exercises (MT&E) business line, bridging the gap between advanced technical capabilities and evolving customer requirements. You will lead a virtual, cross-functional team to deliver industry-leading, differentiated solutions that maintain our competitive edge in core and adjacent markets. Success will be measured against the virtual P&L performance of your business line.

You will leverage your experience in military operational readiness training and operations, bringing a deep understanding of complex mission training environments and requirements for mission readiness. As warfare evolves, training needs to as well. The MT&E business line will harness your expertise in digital backbone architectures for secure, multi-domain, distributed synthetic training environments. Partnership management with OEMs and key industry players is a must.

Description

Strategic Business Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans with committed strategic order intake targets that drive business line revenue and profit growth

  • Build and qualify a robust 5-year pipeline aligned with regional leadership objectives

  • Drive win strategy excellence to maximize PWin across all opportunities

  • Lead cross-regional market segment teams ensuring solutions, proposals and marketing alignment

Solution Development & Innovation

  • Identify technology gaps linked to customer mission requirements

  • Secure funding for technology development through appropriate mechanisms (program backlog, investment books, internal and customer funded R&D)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to architect comprehensive, scalable business solutions

  • Map future operational requirements for next-generation multi-domain warfare training

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and mentor high-performing teams through expertise development and coaching

  • Drive strategic staffing decisions for pipeline opportunities

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across technical and commercial teams

Governance & Performance Management

  • Report quarterly progress through OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and monthly management reporting

  • Facilitate Lead-to-Award governance, including Pursue/No-Pursue decision gates

  • Maintain virtual business line P&L accountability and drive continuous performance improvement

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 10+ years in business development, capture management, sales, or program management

  • Proven track record shaping and winning large strategic opportunities in complex OEM and governmental environments

  • P&L leadership experience in technology, aerospace, or defense sectors

  • Strong business acumen with ability to make sound decisions in competitive, fast-paced, uncertain environments

  • Influential leader capable of driving results through matrix organizations without direct authority

  • Exceptional motivator who builds trust and inspires high performance

  • Collaborative mindset with proven success in team-oriented environments

  • Strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills across diverse audiences (employees, customers, partners, executives

  • Active or eligible for NATO SECRET Security Clearance
