Senior Associate, Strategic Finance

Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative, execution-focused Senior Associate, Strategic Finance to join Cityblock’s Finance team. This individual will play an essential role in the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a differentiated ability to draw insights and make data-driven recommendations using both quantitative and qualitative inputs.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to monthly close process ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting.

• Produce insightful analyses of financial and business results, and communicate these results clearly to finance and executive leadership teams. 

• Innovate the tools we use to surface and distill financial information to our teams.

• Own financial model utilized for company-wide annual budget/planning process and quarterly reforecast processes.

• Partner closely with the accounting and actuary teams to consolidate inputs and insights for the monthly close, quarterly reforecast, and annual budget processes.

• Serve as finance partner to leaders across the company, owning and managing headcount and budgets.

• Support strategic financial projects, including investor relations, debt and equity fundraising, and corporate development. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3+ years experience in consulting, investment banking, VC/PE, FP&A or strategic finance.
