Roles & Responsibilities

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree with a current and active veterinary license in good standing
  • 5+ years of experience as a veterinarian in companion animal general clinical practice
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work (50-70% of time) including occasional weekend/evening work; valid US driver's license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a growth mindset and ability to lead, coach, and collaborate

  • Partner with the Area Business Manager to develop and achieve the area’s business strategy and objectives; become a trusted advisor to veterinary customers and colleagues; contribute to protecting and growing the veterinary industry and the Zoetis brand; pursue ongoing personal and professional growth

As a Zoetis Professional Services Veterinarian, you will:

  • Drive the widespread adoption of higher standards of care and animal welfare 
  • Educate and influence veterinary colleagues and practice teams by giving lectures, facilitating / roundtable discussions on the latest up-to-date information on small animal diseases, Zoetis products / services, medical advancements, practice management topics
  • Be the “voice of the veterinarian” when advising on strategies and educating internal teams (sales and marketing).
