Overview
The 3M Analyst provides technical support for the operations, development, and implementation of application software and maintenance for designated electronic operating systems and applicable workflow applications/processes (i.e., Radiology, Cardiology, Imaging, 3rd Party Systems). The analyst acts as a liaison with Riverside's Information Systems department. The analyst has continual responsibility for application software in support of critical operations. Assumes responsibility for designated projects as required. The Systems Analyst displays application/workflow knowledge to complete issue resolution, testing, training, continuous improvement of the system and system maintenance.
The Systems Analyst must be able to provide 24/7 on call support on a rotating basis for application issue resolution.
What you will do
- Understand and teach operational and troubleshooting techniques for all primary and supporting Radiology, Cardiology, Imaging, 3rd Party equipment and software programs
- Responsible for ensuring stable and effective operating platforms. Maintain relationships with vendors and user groups involved with critical software and hardware installations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes and/or procedures that promote patient safety as well as support financial revenue cycle including identification, analysis, and action plans that support correction of outliers. Ensure compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines.
- Provide support for IT project implementations and system upgrades
- Work with management team for appropriate and timely corrections to data exchange
- Develop detailed action reports to identify trends
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, with 5 years of progressive healthcare experience. (Required) or
- Program Graduate, Technical license in Preferred Programs of Study (Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Sciences or Clinical Role) (Required) or
- Associates Degree, Degree in Preferred Programs of Study (Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Sciences or Clinical Role) (Required)
- Bachelors Degree, Degree in Preferred Programs of Study (Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Sciences or Clinical Role) (Preferred)
Experience
- 3 years of progressive health care experience preferably in an Integrated Delivery Network in clinical care and operations (Required)
- 2-3 years Information Technology/Technical Services/System Administrator (i.e., PACS, 3rd Party System) (Required)
- 2-3 years Project Management (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt - Six Sigma Global Institute (SSGI) within 180 Days(Required)
- Six Sigma Green Belt - Riverside Health System (RHS) (Preferred)
