  • Ability to work from home with a suitable home office setup (space, desk, chair, and internet access) and meet virtual program eligibility

Requirements:

  • Provide a +1 service attitude and courteous guest service; anticipate client and team member needs; respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and complaints; assist clients throughout their booking process to Travel Happy
  • Utilize selling skills and knowledge of company sales programs to maximize revenue and occupancy; stay current on marketing programs, special rates, and promotions
  • Manage and organize sales leads, rooming lists, and related records; enter bookings and leads into Delphi; notify team of potential issues with accounts, leads, rooming lists, or availability and assist in finding solutions; report errors effectively
  • Support data entry and reporting tasks including revenue reporting, group pick-up reports, and commissions/rebates; manage content on third-party platforms; comply with safety rules and perform other duties as required

Summary:
Under general direction, focus on administrative support to ensure maximum selling time for the sales team. Provides support to Groups, Meetings, and Business Development. Works to maintain a high standard of service and hospitality and always maximizes revenue for the Drury system.

Job Duties:

  • Has a +1 service attitude and provides courteous, friendly guest service by anticipating client and team member needs. Responds promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints. Assist clients throughout their booking process to ensure they are able to Travel Happy.
  • Knowledgeable of selling skills and company sales programs to maximize revenue and occupancy levels. Keeps current knowledge of marketing programs, special rates, and promotions.
  • Keeps accurate information in all resources as required and maintains company records as outlined in the Company’s procedures. 
  • Be an expert at entry, revision, and organization of sales leads and rooming lists.
  • Notify appropriate team members of any potential problems with accounts, leads, rooming lists, or hotel availability, and assist in finding a solution.
  • Be proficient in error reporting and understanding how to communicate errors effectively. Notifies hotels and/or sales teams when proper billing is established.
  • Assists with entering bookings and sales leads into Delphi.
  • Understand various data entry functions, such as revenue reporting, software administration, group pick-up reports, and commissions/rebates.
  • Manages content on third-party platforms.
  • Comply with office safety/security rules and instructions to perform work efficiently and protect oneself, fellow workers, and the company.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

General Knowledge Skill and Ability:

Requires the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including typing at 55 w.p.m., is also required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook are also required.

Requires the ability to provide a work-at-home space, desk, chair, and internet provider. It also requires that all eligibility requirements and expectations are met per the virtual program and agreement.
