We are looking for a talented Senior Java Engineer to join a client from Argentina, a leader in the insurance industry. Dive into an exciting new team we're building for the Administration domain, where you'll shape cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth!

This is you

• 4+ years of experience in Java development;

• Solid experience in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture;

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD);

• Experience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) for clean and secure code;

• Proficiency in SQL databases;

• Experience with RESTful applications and SOAP services;

• Native Spanish speaker and intermediate English level.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with NoSQL databases;

• Knowledge of cloud technology stack (AWS, Azure, or GCP);

• Understanding of messaging platforms (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar).

This is your role

• Develop and maintain scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot;

• Contribute to migrating legacy microservices to modern cloud architectures, focusing on scalability and maintainability;

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and SOAP services for insurance systems, including policy inquiries and portals;

• Apply Test-Driven Development to deliver clean, secure, and high-quality code;

• Design and integrate SQL databases to meet application data requirements;

• Implement design and development best practices to enhance system maintainability.
