Minimum 4 years of hands-on firewall administering experience with Juniper and/or Palo Alto firewalls
Current certifications such as SecPlus or NetPlus; CISSP or Juniper/Palo Alto certifications prioritized
Experience with design, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and OS upgrades; hardware upgrade coordination
Ability to participate in rotational on-call support (approximately one week every 12 weeks) and minimal travel as needed
Requirements:

Job description
Firewall Administrator: we are seeking a candidate with current experience in Juniper and/or Palo Alto firewall design, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. The role will involve daily maintenance of a subset of firewalls in a complex infrastructure. Daily tasking will include rule updates, OS upgrades, hardware upgrade coordination, customer troubleshooting, Service Central ticket monitoring, and other administrative work. This role will have a rotational on-call support requirement, currently one week every 12 weeks.
Candidate should have a minimum certification of Sec+ or Net+. CISSP or Juniper/Palo Certifications will be prioritized.
Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or training and is not frequent.
Must have experience minimum of 4 years as a firewall administrator working specifically with Juniper and/or Palo Alto; certifications in these will be prioritized over other candidates. Minimum of Sec+ or Net+ cert plus 4 years firewall admin experience required.
