Position Summary...

About the Team:

We are looking for experienced data engineer with backend development experience with a growth mindset to join our Third Party Data Engineering team associated with the AI and Dara. We are responsible to ingest, transform, analyze, self-serve all data related to Strategic Data Intelligence(SDI) for enabling data-driven decision making. As a Data Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting the company's data-driven initiatives.

What you'll bring:

4–6 years of hands-on experience building robust data solutions, with expertise in data modeling, warehousing, ETL processes, and distributed computing frameworks.
Strong proficiency in Scala and Spark for data processing, analytics, and building scalable pipelines.
Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Big Query, GCS, and Data Proc, along with near real-time data ingestion using Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming.
Strong working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL systems, with an in-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Proficiency in Git/version control, CI/CD pipelines, workflow schedulers like Airflow, and working with large-scale data sets.
Familiarity with BI/visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
Hands-on exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI), Agentic AI is a strong plus!
