Job description

Overview:

BerryDunn is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to join our Medicaid Practice Group. This position will support client work for a State Health and Human Services (HHS) agency that has requested organizational change management support to guide enterprise program management, Medicaid modernization initiatives, and the adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.

 

The OCM Lead will be responsible for leading and executing change management activities to support operations and Medicaid modernization initiatives. This role focuses on the people side of change, ensuring leadership and staff are prepared, supported, and equipped to successfully adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working. As the OCM Lead, you will develop and implement a comprehensive OCM Plan using proven change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci®), coordinate closely with project management, training, business process, and systems teams, and provide strategic guidance to leadership throughout the engagement.

 

This position offers flexibility in work location, including fully onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements. The preferred location is Kapolei, Hawaiʻi, or the U.S. West Coast. Regardless of location, the role requires working American Samoa Standard Time (ASST). 

 

Travel Expectations: This role may require travel up to 25% to support client meetings, planning sessions, and key project milestones in American Samoa.

You Will:
  • Conduct and synthesize organizational change readiness assessments, incorporating leadership and staff perspectives.
  • Develop resistance management strategies, escalation paths, and mitigation plans
  • Support leadership alignment and readiness for system, policy, and process changes
  • Ensure OCM activities are coordinated with system vendors and other project partners
  • Guide development of targeted communications tailored to key stakeholders and audience groups
You Have:
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a team setting.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, business, public administration, or related field
  • Prosci® Change Management Certification
  • Experience leading organizational change management efforts on complex initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience applying Prosci® or similar change management methodologies
  • Experience supporting large-scale system, policy, or process transformations (public sector and/or Medicaid experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills
  • Experience working with government or Medicaid agencies
  • Familiarity with EPMO or enterprise program environments
  • Experience coordinating change activities across multiple vendors and workstreams
Compensation Details:

The base salary range targeted for this role is $95,000-$120,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
