Job description

We are seeking a full-time in-house graphics / production art professional at a leading North American promotional products distributor. This individual should possess a great sense of design along with excellent prepress, type and color skills. Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator/Illustrator/InDesign) is a MUST working in PC environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable juggling multiple projects and prioritizing work in a fast paced environment and is able to QC their work.

Requirements

  • 3 years (minimum) of Graphic Design/Production Art experience.
  • College degree - Associates Degree or above preferred.
  • High-Level Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • BONUS: Working knowledge of pre-press / production ready artwork as well as various printing processes including digital, silk-screen and offset printing.

  • Strong portfolio supporting a proven knowledge of graphic design and production art for print or web.
  • Solid track record of accurately estimating and meeting deadlines through excellent time management.
  • Strong attention to detail, an inherent eye for design, and the ability to multi-task and quality check work.
  • Solid people skills, ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Copy proofing and editing.
  • Ability to communicate well and time management.

Primary Duties And Split Responsibilities

  • Using Adobe design software (specifically Illustrator) to product proofs/mockups, pre-press file setup and other graphic artworks needed for marketing collaterals
  • Ensuring the consistency and quality of design work with attention to detail
  • Ability to work methodically and meet productivity goal daily independently, collaborate with team/manager to execute projects effectively with superior time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: USD 3-4/hr
