Job description

Job Title: Recruiting and People Assistant

Location: Remote (Chile-based)

Working Language: This role will primarily be English speaking; excellent verbal and written English skills are required.

Position Overview:
This key role is primarily responsible for full scale recruiting, but also includes general engagement with the employee base, and HR generalist responsibilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of critical thinking while driving initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a high-performing and inclusive work culture. This role is contractor-based, fully remote, and requires excellent English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end recruiting. This includes creating the job description, posting the role, reviewing submissions, screening applicants, reformatting resumes, and submitting top candidates to hiring managers.

  • Manage administrative aspects of recruiting websites and background check platforms to streamline hiring processes and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Assist in employee onboarding and off boarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved.

  • Assist with marketing and sales.

  • Assist with asset management.

  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Upper level education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; work experience in lieu of degree may be substituted on a case-by-case basis.

  • 2+ years experience with full scale recruitment.

  • 2+ years experience in operations or human resources.

  • Familiarity with at least one ATS platform.

  • Familiarly using Indeed as a recruiting platform.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills.

  • Competency using GSuite (specifically: calendar, gmail, sheets, docs, slides)

  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment.
