Roles & Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda/serverless architectures and experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems for analytics (preferred); strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; US work authorization

Requirements:

  • Develop and support execution of tool-based data stewardship and governance oversight processes.
  • Operationalize governance workflows on enterprise data governance and AI governance platforms; support user adoption of governance tools and processes.
  • Support reporting datasets and data marts creation/refresh; maintain data pipelines to collect governance monitoring data from enterprise systems.
  • Contribute to AI use case testing/validation (including red-teaming) and AI governance lifecycle analytics and reporting; assist with customer workshops to design prototypes and track adoption; collaborate with governance leadership to translate KPIs into BI dashboards.

U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. FinTech) is seeking an experienced Associate Data and AI Governance II to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

Job Information

This role supports Data and AI Governance platforms-based processes development, implementation and execution, enterprise data catalog and lineage development, automation of governance reporting data sourcing in reporting DataMart, and BI dashboards development. You will contribute to AI use case development, red teaming, and AI Governance operations, with effective cross-functional team collaboration and stewardship engagement.

 

This role works closely with data engineering, data and AI governance, and IT shared services teams to operationalize tool-based governance processes and develop automated solutions, where applicable. This role supports documentation of risk and audit evidence and develops user guides and training, as applicable.


Key Job Functions

  • Develop and support execution of tool-based data stewardship and governance oversight processes.
  • Operationalize governance workflows on enterprise data governance and AI governance platforms.
  • Support user adoption of the governance tools and processes. Contribute to developing user guides and training.
  • Support reporting datasets and data mart creation and refreshes / updates.
  • Support development and maintenance of data pipelines to collect governance monitoring and reporting data from enterprise systems.
  • Improve automation and efficiency of governance analytics and reporting processes.
  • Collaboration with governance leadership to translate governance KPIs and operational metrics into BI dashboard for stakeholder visibility.
  • Participate in AI use case testing and validation activities, including AI red teaming exercises.
  • Participate in developing AI solutions, facilitating customer workshops to design and build prototypes, and helping in tracking usage and adoption of AI.
  • Support the development and maintenance of AI governance lifecycle activities, analytics, and reporting.
  • Embrace agile work practices for iterative backlog/sprint planning, prioritization, sprint delivery reviews, and retrospectives to deliver governance capabilities efficiently and transparently.
QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics and related technical field.

Minimum Experience  

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in at least one of these areas: data engineering, metadata management and data governance Platform DevOps support, data analytics, and BI development
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. U.S. FinTech does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Exposure to AI lifecycle tracking or AI governance processes preferred.
  • Understanding of AI model testing or red teaming concepts preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda or serverless architectures preferred.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems for analytics preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of industry frameworks, including DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC, NIST AI RMF.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good planning and task management capabilities.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and tools.
  • High integrity and work ethics standards.

Pay Range $94,250 to $107,500

U.S. FinTech's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. U.S. FinTech offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
