Provides administrative support for fiscal sponsorship of the Arts & Culture division in coordination with Division leadership, including sponsor communications, contracting, tracking, fulfillment, and related reporting. Assists leadership with the development and implementation of the sponsor prospecting strategy. Provides sponsor-related support at Division events and programs.
A minimum of two (2) years directly related experience (employment, internship, and/or education) in fundraising, development, or donor relations. Experience within the arts and cultural industry preferred.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required name-only background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
Knowledge of:
This position will be required to work some nights and weekends. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Hours will vary depending on the time of year, typically ranging from 5-10 hours per week, with longer hours during heavy prospecting time periods, and leading up to and during events.
TEMPORARY POSITIONS:
An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
