Requirements:

  • Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior technical and product leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy and product goals; support strategy execution by identifying talent gaps, advising on workforce planning, and building high-performing, scalable teams
  • Facilitate organizational and structural changes with smooth transitions and clear communication; oversee onboarding and adaptation for new hires and internal transfers within technical/product teams
  • Coach and mentor managers on leadership skills and team development; lead development frameworks for technical and managerial roles; facilitate strategic workshops and promote psychological safety and collaboration
  • Drive core HR processes and employee relations, including performance management, career development, internal mobility, compensation guidance using data-driven insights, regular 1:1s, offboarding improvements, and handling exit interviews

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner.

Purpose of the role:

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong track record of partnering with engineering, product, and technical leadership. You will play a key role in driving organizational effectiveness, supporting strategic initiatives, enabling change, developing managers, and contributing to the long-term success and retention of key talent.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership & Change Management

  • Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior technical and product leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy and product goals.

  • Facilitate organizational and structural changes, ensuring smooth transitions and strong communication throughout the teams.

  • Support business strategy execution by identifying talent gaps, advising on workforce planning, and helping build high-performing, scalable teams.

Onboarding, Adaptation & Talent Development

  • Ensure a high-quality onboarding and adaptation process for new hires and internal transfers within technical/product teams.

  • Support personal development planning together with leadership: facilitate regular conversations, track progress, and promote continuous learning.

  • Lead and enhance development frameworks for technical and managerial roles.

Leadership Coaching, Mentoring & Facilitation

  • Coach and mentor managers on leadership skills, team development, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

  • Facilitate team sessions, strategic workshops, retrospectives, and alignment meetings.

  • Promote modern leadership practices, psychological safety, accountability, and collaboration across teams.

Succession Planning & Key Talent Retention

  • Lead succession planning initiatives for critical technical roles and leadership positions.

  • Identify key performers and high-potential employees; collaborate with managers on personalized retention strategies.

  • Monitor team climate and proactively address risks related to engagement or turnover.

Core HR Processes & Team Support

  • Drive performance management processes within technical teams, ensuring clarity of expectations and quality of feedback cycles.

  • Oversee HR activities such as career development, recognition, internal mobility, and organizational communication.

  • Provide guidance on compensation discussions and working with data-driven insights to support decision-making.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s with employees and manage Employee Relations with professionalism and empathy.

  • Organize exit interviews and ensure a smooth offboarding experience with relevant insights captured.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience as HR Business Partner / People Partner / HR Generalist, with supporting technical, engineering, or product teams

  • English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher

  • Deep understanding of product development cycles, technical team workflows, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Experience in supporting managers and driving leadership development

  • Proven ability to navigate change, influence stakeholders, and manage complex team dynamics

  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with multiple stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Russian

  • Experience working in large international product/IT companies

  • Background in fast-growing tech environments (e.g., SaaS, platforms, engineering-heavy teams)

  • Experience with coaching methodologies or facilitation certifications
