Job description

JOB SUMMARY
We are in search of a project-based, part-time (at least at first), talent acquisition specialist to conduct basic recruiting functions such as sourcing, screening and submitting candidates.

You will love this recruiting opportunity – we are kind of awesome to work with! We are a very positive and fast-growing recruiting firm and we need even more GREAT remote long-term recruiters who take great pride in their results, professionalism and efficiency. We’d love more people who can give us 15-40 hours a week, but we are flexible. There is the possibility if desired to start part-time for us and move to full-time as we have great culture, flexibility, and compensation.

This is the whole recruiting process with a lot of support. This is everything from sourcing (like Indeed and Linked in Job Slots) to submitting and also is client-facing. We need professional polish for this role in addition to the skills. we are known for our sophistication and results. You will get a lot of help from our team including a sourcing team (as needed, social media manager, operations manager, and direct with the CEO. We pay well, a 20% commission and our 12 current recruiters are very happy with us, and many of them have been with us for 5 to 7 years.

We have been in business for 11 years (though the owner has 25 years experience hiring) and we are the leader in one of our main industries where 1000’s of companies know, like and trust us - recognizing us as the leader and expert in the country in our niche.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in-take meeting with hiring manager to understand hiring needs, and through weekly recruiting updates to the hiring manager
- Source potential candidates on Indeed, LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms
- Arrange conversations with applicants/candidates to screen them using provided questions
- Assess which candidates fit the hiring manager's criteria for the position
- Submit successful candidates via brief write-up
- Provide hiring manager with weekly updates

QUALIFICATIONS
- Recruiting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism and polish with client and candidate communication
- Ability to work 10-15 hours minimum a week
- Technical aptitude required to be able to use our systems
- Experience in using Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Indeed
