Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7+ years of IT project and/or product management experience.
  • Proven experience implementing products, including post–go-live evolution and continuous improvement.

  • Agile and/or Scrum certification required (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent); PMP certification desired.

Requirements:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the Identity program, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and value realization, and ensure alignment with enterprise PMO standards and agile/product-centric practices.
  • Oversee Identity implementation from Microsoft Identity Manager to Microsoft Entra, delivering year-1 milestones (lifecycle workflows, data-source integrations, access governance, centralized dashboard, HR connectivity) and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Drive Agile Scrum execution including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives; partner with Product Owners to prioritize features and deliver incremental value.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, manage RAID, and provide executive status reporting to stakeholders and Information Security leadership.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Agile Practitioner to lead the delivery of an Identity implementation. This role is ideal for a product-focused delivery leader who has hands-on experience implementing enterprise platforms, understands product-centric delivery models, and can effectively operate in Agile and Scrum environments.
The successful candidate will take ownership of product delivery outcomes, proactively manage risks and dependencies, engage business and technical stakeholders, and ensure solutions are delivered in alignment with client quality, compliance, and PMO governance standards.
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Product Delivery Ownership
  • Facilitate end-to-end delivery of the Identity program, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and value realization objectives are met.
  • Drive accountability for product delivery outcomes, including roadmap execution, feature delivery, and operational readiness.
  • Clearly understand and manage the distinction between:
  • Product-based delivery (roadmaps, backlogs, continuous value delivery, post–go-live evolution)
  • Traditional project execution (milestones, phase gates, funding cycles)
  • Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise PMO standards while enabling Agile and product-centric ways of working.
 
2. Identity Implementation Leadership
  • Manage Identity deployments and enhancements supporting the migration from Microsoft Identity Manager to Microsoft Entra
  • Deliverables for year 1 include:
  • Implementation of advanced identity lifecycle management workflows
  • Enhanced integration capabilities with authoritative data sources to support both human and non-human identities
  • Deployment of improved access governance controls
  • Introduction of a centralized identity governance dashboard to provide real-time visibility into identity and access management activities
  • Development of strategic road maps
  • Configure Entra ID governance and establish connectivity with the HR systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including functional teams, solution architects, system integrators, and internal IT partners.
  • Ensure platform configurations, data models, integrations, and releases align with IT processes and business outcomes.
 
3. Agile & Scrum Execution (Required)
  • Lead delivery using Agile and Scrum methodologies, including:
  • Sprint planning
  • Backlog refinement
  • Sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Partner closely with Product Owners and Business Leads to:
  • Prioritize features and capabilities
  • Manage product backlogs and roadmaps
  • Deliver incremental and measurable business value
  • Support teams transitioning from project-centric to product-centric delivery models.
 
4. Project Leadership & Governance
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, product roadmaps, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Own and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure timely mitigation and escalation.
  • Provide clear, concise delivery status reporting for executive and Information Security leadership.
 
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Engage senior leaders and product stakeholders to maintain momentum, alignment, and adoption.
 
6. Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement through Agile retrospectives, lessons learned, and delivery metrics.
  • Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and support operational readiness and user adoption.
 
Qualifications:
Experience
  • 7+ years of IT project and/or product management experience.
  • Proven experience implementing products, not just managing one-time projects, including post–go-live evolution and continuous improvement.
  • Experience delivering security solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in large enterprises.
 
Education:
  • Associate's Degree with relevant experience (minimum required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
 
Certifications:
  • Agile and/or Scrum certification required (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent). ** (Active preferred)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. (Desired)
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Product Delivery or Product Management experience in enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience working with system integrators and SaaS vendors.
  • Familiarity with Agile lifecycle management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
 
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Ability to manage delivery plans, product roadmaps, backlogs, and RAID effectively.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and escalation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to deliver quality and outcomes.
  • Ability to lead without authority and influence across organizational boundaries
