Job description

This is a remote position.

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Reinsurance Developer to join our service delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Duck Creek Reinsurance module development, configuration, and integration, with a background in the insurance or reinsurance domain. You will be responsible for implementing, customising, and supporting reinsurance solutions for global insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement solutions in Duck Creek Reinsurance (treaty, facultative, bordereaux, retrocession).
Configure and customise reinsurance workflows, rules, and product definitions.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
Work on integration with policy administration, claims, and billing systems (Duck Creek Suite or third-party systems).
Develop reinsurance bordereaux reporting, ceded premium, and claims calculations.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing reinsurance configurations and code.
Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and support for UAT.
Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and industry guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, architects, offshore/onshore teams) in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Requirements

Hands-on development experience in the Duck Creek Reinsurance module (minimum 2–3 years).
Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts – treaty, facultative, cession, retrocession, bordereaux.
Experience in Duck Creek Author, Express, and XML configurations.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, XML, and SQL Server.
Knowledge of the insurance domain (P&C, Reinsurance workflows).
Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Azure DevOps preferred).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
