Job description

Position Summary:

The Specialist I, Wellness & Learner Support advances Nightingale College’s mission by supporting the whole person wellness of both collaborators and learners. This role blends existing wellness program responsibilities with new initiatives designed to strengthen learner emotional resilience, stress management, and overall wellbeing, while also identifying, developing, and implementing health and wellness programming using established standards and principles. The Wellness team is committed to ensuring open access to effective wellness resources and outcomes across all demographics.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Process reporting into and out of the wellness platform.
  • Help build structured learner wellness programming that aligns with the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and Nightingale’s purpose and mission.
  • Design, schedule, and facilitate regular learner-focused wellness seminars, webinars, and micro workshops
  • Assist in specialized programming based on collaborator needs.
  • Build and send communications, including quarterly reminders, challenges, and events.
  • Serve as a core contributor to the Learner Wellness program, working in partnership with Learner Support Services.
  • Identifies and makes recommendations on areas of improvement in processes or policies within the function.
  • Participates in the successful implementation of other Collaborator Experience projects as they arise.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Some college required, associate degree typical .
  • Typical experience of 2 years in Public Health Wellness.
  • Proficiency in leading and facilitating meetings is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possesses a basic understanding of health standards and wellness principles, including compliance around wellness programs.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$27.50$31 USD

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
