Join our vibrant team in Warsaw as a Senior Accountant (Tax Focus) and be a part of something extraordinary!
As a Senior Accountant (Tax Focus), you will be responsible for local accounting activities in Poland, with a strong emphasis on tax-related processes. This role requires solid experience in Polish tax regulations, preparation of tax financial statements, and working with detailed documentation required by tax authorities.
Your contribution:
- You will be responsible for all accounting activities in line with Polish and IFRS accounting standards, demonstrating a deep understanding and operational knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, including specific documentation required by tax authorities
- You will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for Breitling PolandYou will prepare tax-related financial statements and ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations
- You will ensure proper maintenance for the accounting general ledger in accordance with IFRS and tax reporting requirements
- You will be responsible for internal and external audits
- You will contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives

You will fit well to our squad if:
- You have 7+ years of experience in accounting, with strong exposure to Polish taxes
- You have hands-on experience in preparing tax financial statements
- You are familiar with Polish accounting rules and tax declaration requirements
- You have experience preparing documentation required by tax authorities
- You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A tax-related certification (e.g., tax advisor, accounting certification with tax specialization) will be considered an advantage
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
- You demonstrate a result-driven working attitude
- You have a flair for accounting systems and data management
- You are able to understand and adapt to changing priorities
- You have advanced knowledge of Excel
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- You have knowledge of SAP
