Job Description
This is a hands-on technical role focused on maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of a Microsoft Azure–based infrastructure supporting a complex, integration-heavy enterprise application.

The ideal candidate is a strong Azure operator who is comfortable working in production environments, troubleshooting across infrastructure and applications, and supporting systems that integrate with external platforms and customer environments.

This role is critical to improving operational stability, reducing reactive support, and helping scale the platform as Delegate continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure & Platform Operations

  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure environments (VMs, networking, storage, platform services)
  • Support multiple environments (Production, Test, Training)
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and health
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues
  • Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
Incident Response & Operational Support
  • Respond to and resolve production incidents
  • Participate in triage, root cause analysis, and remediation
  • Support alerting systems and proactive issue detection
  • Participate in escalation and after-hours support as needed
Monitoring, Logging & Visibility
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and logging
  • Tune alerts and reduce noise
  • Use telemetry and dashboards for operational awareness
Integration & Application Support
  • Support platforms like Rhapsody and similar integration tools
  • Troubleshoot HL7 message flows, interfaces, and connectivity
  • Support onboarding of new customer integrations
Operational Maturity & Standardization
  • Reduce configuration drift across environments
  • Document systems and operational runbooks
  • Improve repeatability and reduce reactive support
Security & Compliance
  • Support secure configurations in a HIPAA-regulated environment
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation and policy and procedure support
Required Qualifications
  • 4–8 years in systems administration or cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience
  • Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure and networking
  • Experience supporting production environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enterprise SaaS / ERP platform experience
  • Integration platforms (Rhapsody, Mirth, Cloverleaf)
  • HL7 familiarity
  • HIPAA / SOC 2 exposure
  • Managed cloud provider experience

This is a hands-on technical role working directly in Azure and related systems daily to troubleshoot, support operations, and maintain platform stability.
