At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Senior to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a QA Automation Senior, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our software products. Your expertise in automated testing will drive the creation of robust solutions while collaborating with talented cross-functional teams. Your work will ensure that we consistently deliver high-quality applications that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, Pytest, or similar.
- Identify, document, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve test processes and automation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must-have Skills:
- Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Jira, or similar.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
- Exposure to API testing and security testing.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
