Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Countertop CAD Programmer / Drafter to join our team. This role is responsible for turning field measurements and project specifications into accurate CAD drawings and CNC programs for countertop fabrication. The position plays a key role in ensuring jobs move efficiently from measure to production to installation.
Responsibilities
• Create production-ready CAD drawings for countertop jobs.
• Review field measurements, job details, and specifications for accuracy.
• Determine seam placement, cutout locations, edge details, splash details, and fabrication methods.
• Coordinate with project managers, measure technicians, shop personnel, and installers to resolve discrepancies.
• Revise drawings and programs as needed.
• Help ensure jobs are fabrication-ready, accurate, and installable.
• Program CNC equipment for fabrication.
Requirements
Qualifications
• CAD drafting experience required.
• Experience in countertop, cabinetry, or millwork preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read field measurements and architectural/shop drawings.
• Practical understanding of countertop fabrication and installation methods.
• CNC programming experience preferred.
• AutoCAD experience required.
