Requirements:

  • Lead department operations by establishing a clear vision for network operational management, including leading the network setup and migration programs, guiding and directing, authorizing execution of key plans and initiatives, and ensuring networks are managed efficiently and in compliance with all regulations
  • Develop and execute plans to address network and platform gaps to ensure effective network management operations and to meet all migration and project milestones and timelines
  • Oversee capacity planning for the department, perform ongoing resource forecasting for peak and non-peak periods, and develop and execute talent planning and management strategies
  • Monitor performance guarantees (PGs), individual performance metrics, and service level agreements; establish visibility and accountability within teams to meet or exceed these measures and drive continuous quality improvement

Job Description

The Director, Pharmacy Network Enablement is responsible for driving strategic operational, client relationship, talent planning, and talent development initiatives for department. The Director, Pharmacy Network Enablement will partner with other leaders within the business to ensure operational compliance, meet key performance metrics, and drive continuous quality improvement for assigned department. This role leads resource allocation efforts for project work and provides oversight of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead department operations by establishing a clear vision for network operational management including leading the network set up and migration programs, offering guidance and direction, authorizing the execution of key plans and initiatives, and ensuring networks are being managed in an efficient manner that meets all federal, state and local regulations

  • Develop and execute plan to address network and platform gaps to ensure effective network management operations and meeting all migration and project milestones and timelines

  • Oversee capacity planning activities for department; perform ongoing resource forecasting for peak and non-peak periods, develop and execute on talent planning and management strategies

  • Develop and execute on staff development strategies (training programs, stretch assignments, leadership development, etc.)

  • Monitor performance guarantees (PGs), individual performance metrics, and service level agreements; establish visibility and accountability within teams to meet or exceed these measures

  • Develop and deploy department vision to advance continuous quality improvement to significantly impact quality, efficiency, cost, and client satisfaction  

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 8 years of work experience in Operations Management, Pharmacy Benefit Management, Healthcare, Insurance, or highly regulated market

  • 5 years of leadership/people management experience

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution and listening

  • Strong leadership ability

  • Driven, focused individual with strong influencing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously without compromising quality

  • Ability to work under pressure and strict timeframes

  • Demonstrated adaptability and actively supports initiatives that drive organizational change and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Network management experience

  • Experience with department budget development, monitoring, and management of financial performance

  • Experience with continuous quality improvement or business analysis

  • Experience leading a large organization (30+ employees)

Potential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00 based on experience and skills.
