Roles & Responsibilities

  • Stable home internet with cable/fiber connection meeting minimum speeds (download 5 Mbps, upload 3 Mbps, ping 50 ms, jitter 30 ms).
  • Laptop/Macbook/Chromebook with webcam for online assessment, training and operations; Windows 11 (version 23H2) or MacOS 12+ or ChromeOS updated; antivirus and browser updated; no Kaspersky.
  • Mobile phone (Android 13+ or iOS 16+) for operation backup; excluding Huawei, Samsung A series, iPad tablets, or devices older than listed.
  • Must pass English Assessment (AMCAT) and Native Language Assessment (eLPT) and complete the 7-week training (3 weeks day, 4 weeks night).

Requirements:

  • Provide accurate Khmer-English interpretation during calls, meetings and written communications as assigned.
  • Work remotely on a rotational night-shift schedule and adhere to the operation team's timetable.
  • Complete mandatory training and pass AMCAT and eLPT assessments within the specified timeline.
  • Operate with assigned or personal hardware/software and ensure reliable connectivity for online assessments and ongoing operations.

Job description

HIRING POSITION INTERPRETER : (KHMER <> English Language)

Location: Work from Home (Home Based/Remotely) only hiring in Malaysia/Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodia

TsC 12-month Contract (renewable subject to performance) Full-Time Position

Working performance:

Working days: 5 – 6 working days

Working Time: following Malaysia Time starts anytime from 8pm/9pm/10pm/11pm/12am

Working Hours: Rotational Night Shift (It will be scheduled by the operation team, and it is mandatory to follow schedule set; cannot choose your shift timing)

TRAINING HOURS

  • First 3 weeks: Day
  • Next 4 weeks: Night

  3. Training (3 + 4 weeks)
  4. Operation

Requirements

Job Requirement:

1. Internet - Need to have a Cable-Modem or Fiber Optic WIFI (NO Broadband or Mobile Data)

Internet requirements:

  • Download > 5 Mbps
  • Upload > 3 Mbps
  • Ping < 50 Mbps
  • Jitter < 30 Mbps
  • Internet Speed Test : Speedtest (llsapi.com)

2. Laptop/Macbook/Chromebook with Webcam/Camera [use your own device]

– For online assessment, training and operation purposes

  • Windows: Windows 11 version 23H2
  • Mac: MacOS 12 and above (latest version)
  • ChromeOS: Updated to current version
  • *Make sure to update antivirus and internet browser. No Kaspersky products.

3. Mobile Phone [use your own device] - for operation purpose (for backup)

  • Only Android 13 and above or IOS 16 and above
  • (NO Huawei, Samsung A Series, iPad C Tablets, iPhone 6 and below)

Benefits

Salary Package:

Monthly Starting from RM4,800/ RM 30(hour) + OT Pay

*Candidates will first need to fulfill the hours that they need to produce first. If

they want to do OT, they need to request for team leader approval first, once

approved then can do OT.
