  • Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to AP, AR, and GL teams, including workload management, performance, and development
  • Maintain and oversee lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842
  • Manage fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and supporting schedules
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Drive process improvements and system optimization within NetSuite and related tools
  • Support system enhancements, integrations, and workflow automation initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to support reporting, budgeting, and business insights
  • Support clinical research operations to ensure accurate accounting of trial-related activities and revenue recognition

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • You are a CPA (active) with 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • You have experience leading or supporting AP, AR, and/or GL accounting teams
  • You have a strong understanding of US GAAP, with hands-on experience in month-end close, audits, and lease accounting (ASC 842)
  • You’re highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have experience working in NetSuite (preferred) and are advanced in Excel
  • You have experience in healthcare, clinical research, or a multi-entity environment (preferred)
  • You’ve worked in a private equity-backed environment (highly preferred)
  • You’re comfortable working with offshore teams (preferred)
  • You’re a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively across functions
