Degree in translation, linguistics or language studies (or an equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized institution of higher education (ISO 17100 criterion a).
Degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education with the equivalent of two years of full-time professional translation experience.
Five years of full-time professional translation experience.
CAT tools experience with memoQ.

Requirements:

Translate healthcare patient education/information content from English (US) into Urdu.
Localize content for the US market, ensuring terminology accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
Utilize memoQ CAT tool for translation memory, terminology management, and quality assurance; perform self-review.
Meet project timelines and maintain confidentiality and data security per client requirements.

This is a remote position

We are currently looking for freelance translators:

Language combinations:

English (US) into Urdu

Specializations:

Healthcare
Patient Education/information

Specific knowledge ==> US market

Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria (ISO 17100):

a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

Other requirements:

- CAT tools experience (memoQ)
