Degree in translation, linguistics or language studies (or equivalent with significant translation training) from a recognized higher education institution (HEI).
Degree in any field from a recognized HEI with the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating.
Equivalent of five years of full-time professional translation experience.
CAT tool experience, specifically memoQ.

Requirements:

Translate documents from English (US) to French (FR) or French (CA), focusing on HR, healthcare, and marketing content.
Maintain terminology consistency and high-quality translation following ISO 17100 standards.
Utilize memoQ CAT tool for translation, terminology management, and quality assurance.
Deliver accurate, culturally appropriate translations on time, aligned with US market expectations.

We are currently looking for freelance translators:

Language combinations:

English (US) to French (FR) or French (CA)

Specializations:

Specific knowledge ==> US market

Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria (ISO 17100):

a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
c) have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.

Other requirements:

- CAT tools experience (memoQ)
