Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist Nordics (Fixed Term Contract 18 months) to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert counsel on employee relations, navigating local labor laws, and leading organisational change initiatives to foster a high-performing workplace. You will join a highly matrixed team that collaborates closely with Human Resources Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to deliver consistent, effective HR solutions across global and local priorities.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
Lead Employee Relations and Coaching: Provide expert advice and coaching to people leaders on complex issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions, to ensure fair treatment and a respectful culture.
Execute Organizational Change: Manage the local implementation of reorganizations and Reductions in Force, overseeing legal compliance, stakeholder communication, and consultation processes to achieve business outcomes.
Manage Labor Relations and Compliance: Maintain proactive relationships with unions and works councils while ensuring all local HR policies remain compliant with evolving regional legislation and organisational standards.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Education)
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive Experience in Human Resources: A proven track record of managing sensitive employee relations and navigating complex labor law environments, specifically Swedish employment law.
Multilingual Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English is required; additional knowledge of Norwegian or other Nordic languages is highly preferred.
Advanced Stakeholder Management Skills: The proven ability to influence outcomes and build trusted partnerships with people leaders, employee representatives, and external unions.
Expertise in Change Management: Demonstrated skill in delivering HR initiatives and organisational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, or transfers, at a country or site level
