Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce CG Cloud & Retail Execution
Lead with hands-on experience implementing Salesforce CG Cloud and
configuring Retail Execution within Salesforce CG Cloud. The role is
primarily functional in nature, with a strong appreciation for technical
aspects, and demands deep FMCG domain knowledge, stakeholder management, and
the ability to work closely with technical teams to deliver high-quality
implementations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirement
Gathering
b. Collaborate
with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align Retail
execution processes with business objectives.
c. Translate
business needs into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and
functional requirements.
d. Create
end-to-end process maps, data models, and gap analysis.
2. Solution
Design & Functional Ownership
a. Design
scalable and best-practice Salesforce solutions aligned to business objectives.
b. Lead
end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CG Cloud (Retail Execution) to
support trade planning, budgeting, execution, settlement, and in-store retail
activities.
d. Integrate Salesforce CG Cloud with upstream and
downstream systems (e.g., ERP, DMS, Retail Execution platforms, analytics
tools) for accurate data flow.
e. Define data migration and data quality
requirements.
3. Implementation Coordination
a. Work
closely with Salesforce developers, integration teams, and TPM teams to drive
timely and high-quality delivery.
b. Identify
risks, dependencies, and integration bottlenecks, and proactively recommend
mitigation strategies.
c. Support
UAT, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hyper care for CG Cloud (TPM and
Retail Execution) implementations.
4. Stakeholder & Project Management
a. Act
as the primary liaison between business teams and technical teams.
b. Manage
client expectations, drive decisions, and ensure solutions sign-offs.
c. Support
project planning, risk identification, and dependency management.
5. Change Management & Training
a. Prepare
training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.
b. Support
change management activities and ensure user adoption.
c. Provide
post go-live hyper care and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Expertise
· 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce
Functional Consultant/Business Analyst, with a strong functional orientation
and technical awareness.
· Proven experience implementing Salesforce CG
Cloud (TPM and/or Retail Execution) in an FMCG or consumer goods
environment; FMCG experience is strongly preferred.
· Strong hands-on experience configuring Sellables (products, packs, promotional SKUs) and Retail Execution modules
(surveys, store visits, perfect store) within Salesforce CG Cloud.
· Ability to translate trade marketing, sales, and
retail execution requirements into scalable Salesforce CG Cloud solutions.
· Experience in writing user stories, process
flows, BRDs/FRDs, and mapping business processes.
Technical Appreciation
· Hands-on Salesforce configuration skills (Flows,
Permissions, Objects, Validation Rules); technical depth should complement a
strong functional foundation.
· Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and
data migration approaches.
· Ability to collaborate with technical teams
(developers, architects).
