Job Description – SAP SD Consultant (S/4HANA)
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP SD Consultant with
hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA to support implementation, rollout,
and support projects. The consultant will work closely with business users,
functional leads, and technical teams to deliver robust Sales &
Distribution solutions.
Experience
- 5–8
years of experience in SAP SD
- Minimum
1 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation (Greenfield / Brownfield /
Conversion)
- Experience
in support, rollouts, or enhancements on ECC and S/4HANA landscapes
Key Responsibilities
- Participate
in requirement gathering, solution design, and configuration of SAP
SD processes
- Configure
and support core SD functionalities:
- Order-to-Cash
(OTC)
- Pricing
& Condition Techniques
- Billing,
Invoicing, and Credit/Debit Memo processing
- Partner
Determination and Output
- Support S/4HANA-specific processes, including:
- Business
Partner (BP) concept
- Simplified
data model
- Output
Management using BRF+
- Work
on integration points with:
- SAP
MM, FI, and PP
- External
systems (EDI, Tax, Logistics partners)
- Prepare Functional Specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams for
developments
- Support SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities
- Assist
in issue analysis, defect resolution, and post-go-live support
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on
configuration experience in SAP SD on S/4HANA
- Strong
knowledge of:
- Sales
documents, delivery, and billing processes
- Pricing
procedures and condition records
- Copy
control and incompletion procedures
- Good
understanding of OTC business processes
- Experience
working with interfaces, IDOCs, and basic enhancements
- Ability
to analyze business requirements and propose workable SAP solutions
- SD
Certification (ECC or S/4HANA)
- Exposure
to SAP Fiori apps related to SD
- Basic
understanding of Advanced ATP (aATP)
Good to Have
- Experience
in CPG, Manufacturing, Retail, or Pharma industries
- Knowledge
of SAP Activate methodology
Soft Skills
- Good
communication and documentation skills
- Ability
to work independently with guidance from senior consultants
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Client-facing
experience is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
