  • HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, etc.) and FHIR R4 resources with RESTful APIs

Requirements:

  • Design and maintain Viaduct workflows and pipelines
  • Develop integrations using Viaduct Mapping Language (VML) and manage message routing, filtering, and orchestration
  • Integrate with HL7/FHIR adapters within Viaduct to enable data exchange across clinical, operational, and administrative systems
  • Conduct operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability

Integration Solution Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As the Integration Solution Engineer, you will operate within a project-oriented, multidisciplinary integration team delivering enterprise and healthcare interoperability solutions across complex system landscapes.

The role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of integration workflows using Viaduct and complementary integration engines, enabling reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange between clinical, operational, and administrative systems.
You will model, build, deploy, and maintain integration components with a strong emphasis on data quality, reliability, observability, and continuous improvement.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Design and maintain Viaduct workflows and pipelines
  • Develop integrations using Viaduct Mapping Language (VML)
  • Message routing, filtering, and orchestration in Viaduct
  • Integration with HL7/FHIR adapters within Viaduct
  • Operational monitoring, replay, and troubleshooting in Viaduct
  • Performance tuning and throughput optimisation
  • Data mapping/configuration/reference

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with Viaduct integration platform
  • Experience in system integration or middleware development ideally in the healthcare sector
  • HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, etc.)
  • FHIR R4 resources and RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and patient-flow events
  • Integration with PAS, EMR/EHR, LIS, RIS, and departmental systems

Desirable Requirements

  • Exposure to hospital command centre or operational analytics platforms
  • Experience with Mirth Connect or similar healthcare engines
  • Experience integrating real-time location systems (RTLS)
  • Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts
