Roles & Responsibilities

  • 12-15 years of experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 mobile service providers in a Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • 4-5 years of experience managing large teams (50+ engineers).
  • Hands-on expertise in transmission technologies: SDH, DWDM, OTN; strong understanding of 2G/3G/LTE/5G and mobile backhaul networks (MPLS, Ethernet).
  • BTech in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science, or Telecommunications; CCNA certification; proficiency with Vendor NMS/EMS platforms (Huawei, Alcatel, Adva, Ericsson, Nokia).

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for NOC Operations, covering Transmission (TX), RAN, and the Technical Help Desk.
  • Manage customer escalations and expectations, developing and executing improvement plans to consistently meet SLAs and KPIs.
  • Lead a team of 50+ engineers, identifying knowledge gaps and driving competence-building initiatives.
  • Drive automation implementation to increase operational efficiency within the NOC.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for NOC Operations, covering Transmission (TX), RAN, and the Technical Help Desk.
  • Manage customer escalations and expectations, developing and executing improvement plans to consistently meet SLAs and KPIs.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Transmission Networks (SDH, DWDM, OTN) to ensure stable operations.
  • Lead a team of 50+ engineers, identifying knowledge gaps and driving competence-building initiatives.
  • Support the Service Manager in SLA/KPI mitigation and formal sign-offs.
  • Conduct post-mortem reviews for critical incidents and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Drive automation implementation to increase operational efficiency within the NOC.
  • Participate in governance meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years of experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 mobile service providers in a Network Operation Centre (NOC).
  • 4-5 years of experience managing large teams (50+ engineers).
  • Hands-on expertise in Transmission technologies: SDH, DWDM, and OTN network operations.
  • Deep understanding of telecom domains: 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G.
  • Proficiency in Vendor NMS/EMS platforms (e.g., Huawei, Alcatel, Adva, Ericsson, Nokia).
  • Experience in transmission circuit provisioning and network optimization.
  • Solid understanding of mobile backhaul networks (MPLS, Ethernet).
  • Strong knowledge of Change and Problem Management frameworks.
  • BTech degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
  • CCNA Certification is required.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Advanced Spanish.
