We are currently searching for a AS400 Mainframe:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality applications on the IBM i / AS/400 platform using ILE COBOL.
• Create and optimize CL/CLLE scripts for job scheduling and system automation.
• Manage and query DB2/400 databases using SQL/400 to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Utilize IBM i system utilities and development tools such as PDM, SEU, and RDi for efficient coding and debugging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the mainframe environment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to align legacy system functionalities with modern business requirements.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience specifically developing on the IBM i / AS/400 platform.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL/400 and ILE COBOL for business logic implementation.
• Expertise in CL/CLLE for system-level programming and workflow control.
• Advanced knowledge of DB2/400 and SQL/400 for relational database management.
• Hands-on experience with PDM, SEU, and RDi (or similar modern IDEs for IBM i).
• Deep understanding of IBM i system utilities and operating environment commands.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Advanced Spanish.
