Roles & Responsibilities

Strong experience administering Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers in physical and virtual environments, including installation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance
Proficiency with monitoring and network management tools (SCOM, Broadcom DX NetOps Spectrum/Network Flow Analysis/Performance Manager, Dynatrace, Nexthink) and ability to provide training and documentation
Solid understanding of WAN concepts and data circuits (T1, MPLS, VPN/Enterprise VPN, Ethernet, Fiber) and hands-on familiarity with network devices (Routers, Switches, Access Points, Firewalls) including Cisco IOS
Scripting and data analysis skills (PowerShell; SNMP v3 traps/polling; bandwidth analysis; SQL/MySQL) and advanced Excel for monthly reporting; strong system and network troubleshooting

Requirements:

Maintain and administer server operating systems on physical and VM platforms; install/upgrade/maintain monitoring tool suites (SCOM, DX NetOps, Dynatrace, Nexthink)
Install, upgrade, maintain and provide training/documentation for monitoring tools; configure and optimize monitoring and reporting
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and WAN/data circuits (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, MPLS, T1, Ethernet, Fiber) and maintain Cisco IOS configurations
Perform data-driven analysis and reporting using PowerShell, SNMP v3, bandwidth analysis, SQL/MySQL, and Excel; execute advanced troubleshooting to support operational reliability

Duration: Full Time, Remote
Clearance: Active Secret

Requirements:
- Maintain Server Operating Systems running on physical and VM platforms
- Install, Upgrade, and Maintain Monitoring Application Software running on a variety of Operating Systems
- A solid understanding of monitoring Server Operating Systems(Windows Server, RHEL)
- A solid understanding of WAN Concepts and Data Circuits (T1’s, MPLS, VPN and Enterprise VPN, Ethernet, Fiber, etc…)
- A solid understanding of network devices and their function (Routers, Switches, Access Points, Firewalls)
- Install, Upgrade, and Maintain Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux servers on VM platforms.
- Install, Upgrade, Maintain, and provide training/documentation for a suite of Monitoring Tools including but not limited to:
