Who we are

Blackbird Lab is a software development company. While we are practicing international work culture, we are proud representatives of Ukrainian values and traditions. We are a team of 80+ energetic, curious, smart, and open to new challenges tech pros who prefer efficient async communication, flexible working hours, a co-working office model, etc.

Being in this craft for more than 8 years, we managed to accumulate expertise and bring value to a number of clients. We cooperate with US and Canadian product companies of different sizes, from small startups to established products, in close, trusted relationships.

All team members, including management, have an engineering background. The process, participants who speak the same language and have a similar approach based on technical principles, is always efficient. It is way easier to make decisions and introduce new features in a team with engineering at heart. It is the technical DNA that lets us build high-quality products that facilitate the lives of our customers’ users.

Position

We are looking for an IT Recruiter for a 1-year contract (June 2026 - June 2027).

We offer

  • Work with the Middle-Senior tech and non-tech roles, like frontend, backend, full stack developers, QA, marketologists, sales, etc.

  • 2-3 vacancies per month

  • Direct communication with Tech PMs and Hiring Managers

  • Clear and dynamic hiring process

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Hiring Managers

  • Prepare and post job descriptions on job boards and hiring channels

  • Search and interview candidates

  • Сarefully enter all data into the ATS (we use Teamtailor)

  • Lead and support candidates through all interviewing steps

  • Prepare and negotiate with Hiring Managers and candidates the job offer issues

  • Be nice, friendly, and just enjoy your work :)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT recruitment

  • Good knowledge of programming languages and their frameworks, types of clouds, and databases

  • Good communication skills that will help you build a trusting relationship with candidates and provide feedback ecologically

  • Experience in using AI tools to improve and speed up your workflow

  • Upper-Intermediate English speaking level

  • Accountability, organization, self-drivenness, empathy

Interview process

  • Interview with Lead Recruiter and HRBP (60 min)

  • Interview with the CEO (45 min)
