The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth through direct engagement with end customers within the assigned German territory. The role owns customer relationships, opportunity strategy, and commercial execution, managing complex, long‑cycle sales opportunities from early engagement through order intake.

This position is a remote, field‑based role, ideally located in Western / Northwestern Germany, covering that territory. The role requires regular customer engagement, site visits, and stakeholder meetings, with an expected travel requirement of approximately 50%


 

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Owning and executing the direct sales strategy for the assigned territory

  • Developing and managing key customer relationships with municipalities, EPCs, consultants, and system integrators

  • Leading complex, long‑cycle sales opportunities from qualification through order intake

  • Managing pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity data in Salesforce (SFDC)

  • Coordinating internal teams to support deal strategy, pricing, and execution

  • Representing Trojan & Aquafides Technologies in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events


 

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • 5–10 years of experience in direct B2B technical or solution‑based sales

  • Background in municipal water treatment, UV disinfection, environmental, or industrial process technology is strongly preferred. 

  • Proven experience selling complex, engineered systems with long sales cycles

  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

  • Availability to travel around 50% of the time
