Job Role: Operations Coordinator (Logistics & Supply Chain)

Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $1,800 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: his role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time

Role Overview: The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in managing and streamlining day-to-day business operations. This position is responsible for coordinating between suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow execution. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of processes, manages tasks independently, and drives operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate activities between suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
• Manage end-to-end workflows, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Oversee and maintain operational documentation, including contracts, orders, reports, and records
• Monitor project or order progress and proactively address delays or issues
• Act as a central point of contact for operational communication and updates
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
• Maintain organized systems for tracking tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
• Support general operational administration, including reporting, data entry, and system updates

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations support
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of shipping processes and documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
• Able to manage workflows independently with minimal supervision
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and challenges
