Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a relevant field (preferred)
5-10 years of related experience, including work with military and/or government agencies; US citizenship required
Experience with and knowledge of DoD and DHA policies for disseminating product information to the public
Experience promoting a research mission, current programs and accomplishments to the general public
Requirements:
Develop and execute the annual communications plan; create and manage the editorial calendar and weekly status reports
Evaluate the effectiveness of public relations plans in coordination with the Deputy Directors; oversee media relations, including managing negative news coverage and final approval of media responses
Lead strategy for outreach, external engagement, and digital media growth

Position Overview: BLN24 is seeking a Public Relations Lead to join our team. This senior-level position is responsible for the strategic planning, oversight, and execution of the entire communications program. The manager would lead the team and serve as the primary liaison to client leadership. This individual ensures all communication efforts align with the organization's goals and comply with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
