Logistics Analyst – Journeyman

General Program Overview: 

This program supports a U.S. Naval Aviation organization by delivering advanced data analytics, modeling, and decision-support capabilities that improve aircraft readiness, maintenance planning, and sustainment outcomes. The team works with complex, multi-source data to identify trends, forecast workload and cost drivers, and develop actionable insights that help leaders make better-informed operational and resource decisions.

Work on this program spans data engineering, predictive analytics, logistics and sustainment analysis, and the development of dashboards and analytical tools used to improve mission readiness, reduce delays, and optimize long-term lifecycle costs across aviation platforms.

Role Overview

The Logistics Analyst (Journeyman) supports organizational, operational, and logistics analysis efforts aimed at improving efficiency, readiness, and sustainment outcomes. This role evaluates processes, systems, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct logistics, operational, and organizational analysis
• Evaluate processes, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency
• Support readiness, maintenance, and sustainment analysis
• Develop documentation, reports, and analytical products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program objectives

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field
• 3–15 years of professional experience in logistics, operations analysis, or a related discipline

Additional Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 investigation
• Experience supporting complex operational environments preferred
