Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Audit experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and relationship management skills; strong reporting and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI to lead teams and drive process/technological improvements; CRCR certification or willingness to obtain within 9 months of hire

Requirements:

  • Provide strategic vision for Accounts Receivable and oversee department performance, daily workflow, and identification of trending issues; develop training or procedures to address them
  • Manage and support Governmental and Commercial audit processes and ensure quality assurance of worked accounts
  • Lead and develop teams through decision-making, coaching, delegation, executive communication, and program/project management, including budget/resource management
  • Hold regular huddles for evolving training topics and monitor floor progress to ensure timely, accurate AR processing and QA

The Opportunity:

The Director, Accounts Receivable assists with providing the strategic vision for AR functions and is responsible for the performance and effectiveness of the department.  Some of the key responsibilities include managing the daily workflow of the department, monitoring processes and performance to identify trending issues, and developing training or procedures to address these issues. This leader will be instrumental in effectively managing and supporting both arms of the audit process- Governmental and Commercial.

  • Program/Project Management - Demonstrates high accountability and responsibility for projects and programs from inception through completion/implementation; manages budget and resource planning and awareness to ensure maximized output, reduced waste and exceptional results.
  • Manage the daily work-flow of the department, monitor progress to identify trending issues and develop training or processes to address these issues.
  • Hold huddles to efficiently cover new or evolving training focuses to encourage and develop team members.
  • Responsible for overseeing progress on the floor and monitoring the worked accounts for quality assurance.
  • May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 + years of leadership experience
  • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Audit experience
  • Effective leadership capabilities to handle daily operational activities, analyze situations, respond appropriately, and coordinate resources to meet organization and department needs    

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and relationship management capabilities
  • Strong reporting capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean in to process and technological improvements, to include the exploration, experimentation, and application of AI

Certifications:

  • CRCR or willingness to obtain within 9 months of hire

*This position pays between $92,400 - $115,500 based on experience and is eligible for annual incentives.
